Majan Dubailand History

Majan Dubailand was sold at launch as the Downtown of Dubailand. Building work slowed after the 2008 financial crisis, and the master plan was later changed so that smaller plots could be sold to different developers. This is why completed buildings and new launches now stand side by side. Between January 2025 and January 2026, at least 6 new residential launches were announced in the community.

Who Should Buy a Home in Majan?

Is Majan Good for Families?

Yes, for families who drive. Majan has 4 schools within reach across a wide fee range, 3 parks, nurseries and play centres, and pharmacies and supermarkets inside the community, so school runs and daily shopping stay short.

Is Majan Dubai a Good Investment?

Majan suits buyers who want a lower entry price than central Dubai. Majan off-plan projects listed today start at AED 540,000, and freehold status keeps the market open to overseas buyers. Off-plan payments go into a project escrow account under Dubai Law No. 8 of 2007, so money is released to the developer in stages. For The Vault, Imtiaz's record of on-time delivery is the main project-level reason to buy. For Eden Barari, Samana's 2 existing Majan projects show that the developer already knows the area.

Is Majan a Good Place to Live for Working Professionals?

Living in Majan suits professionals who drive. Dubai Mall and Dubai International Airport are both under 30 minutes away in normal traffic, and Dubai Studio City is 10 minutes. Anyone who depends on public transport will find the commute harder, because there is no metro station.

Who Should Wait Before Buying in Majan?

Buyers who need a confirmed price, unit plan and completion date today should wait until Samana and Imtiaz publish full sales details for Eden Barari and The Vault. Both projects are still at the planning stage.

Will The Vault by Imtiaz be sold furnished?

Imtiaz has not confirmed whether The Vault will be furnished. Earlier Imtiaz projects such as Westwood by Imtiaz and Cove Edition 2 were sold fully furnished, so ask whether furniture is included in the price.
